MSN Messenger, a Java application, is now available with NorthernTel Mobility. This new feature provides a user experience that closely resembles that of the PC MSN Messenger. This way, you'll be able to keep in touch with friends, or exchange files using a compatible cell phone.

Here is what you need for the application to work:

  • A compatible handset (Samsung A680, Samsung A660, Sanyo 7300 or Sanyo 2300)
  • 1X Mobile Browser capability
  • The application downloaded from your cell phone or your computer

How you can download MSN Messenger application:

Downloading from your computer
1. Go to: www.bell.ca/msnmessenger
2. Select your phone model
3. Log in
4. Select Application and choose MSN Messenger
5. A text message will be sent to your mobile phone to download the application

Downloading from your cell phone
1. Launch Mobile Browser on your cell phone
2. Scroll down to Download It
3. Scroll down to Applications
4. Scroll down to Email & Messaging
5. Select MSN Messenger, press OK
6. Follow the steps to buy

How to access MSN Messenger once downloaded:

  1. Access the MENU on your cell phone
  2. Scroll down to Applications, press OK
  3. Scroll to MSN Messenger, press OK
  4. Sign-in with your e-mail address and password to start messaging

When using MSN Messenger, access fees for mobile navigation apply for the transfer of data. To help you save, we invite you to subscribe to Mobile Navigator for only $5/month.
